Thunder Radio Network Play by Play voice, Matt Pinto
Oklahoma City Thunder radio broadcaster Matt Pinto is a veteran NBA play-by-play announcer who has been with the franchise since 2007. He calls all games on the Thunder Radio Network, including flagship station WWLS, the Sports Animal (98.1 FM in OKC). Previously, Pinto served as the radio voice of the NBA’s Clippers for two seasons. From 1997-2005, Pinto was on the Dallas Mavericks’ broadcast team, serving as the radio play-by-play voice from 1997-2001 and the television voice from 2001-05. While in Dallas, Pinto also worked as a talk show host for KESN radio and was the play-by-play announcer of the NCAA Division IAA regional game of the week for The Football Network. In 1997, Pinto was named best play-by-play announcer for the state of Texas by the Associated Press.
From 1990-97, Pinto was the radio play-by-play voice of the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets, where he was recognized in 1992 as the Premier Sportscaster in North Carolina by the Charlotte Observer. Pinto was also the television play-by-play voice of UNC-Charlotte basketball games and was an occasional host of ESPN national sports talk shows, as well as serving as the play-by-play voice of Westwood One college basketball.
Before joining the NBA ranks, Pinto worked in the sports broadcasting field in Honolulu, Boston, Los Angeles and Amarillo, Texas. Pinto is married to his beautiful wife Courtney, is the proud father of four (Tamara, Daryl, Nash and Gabriela) and grandfather of two (Jackson and Amelia).

Thunder Radio Network Host Gideon Hamilton
Gideon Hamilton has been covering the Thunder since before they became the Thunder. Gideon arrived in Oklahoma City in 2007 and has been involved in Thunder coverage since their first pre-season game in 2008 and has been one of the hosts of pre-game and post-game shows since 2013.
Thunder Radio Network Co-Host Matt Ravis
Matt Ravis hosts “The Drive” weekdays 9a-12p on The Sports Animal plus co-hosts all Thunder Radio Network coverage during the NBA season. Matt helps deliver analysis and in-depth conversations about the Thunder before and after each game!
Thunder Radio Network Executive Producer Josh Lea
Josh Lea has been producing Thunder basketball since 2013 and has also been producing the imaging sounds of the sports animal. Known by his music name as Sane, Josh is the behind-the-scenes guy at the sports animal. Josh is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas and loves talking sports as well as old school hip-hop music.

Thunder Radio Network Game Producer Preston Poole
Preston joined the Thunder Radio Network team in 2021 and has been the in-studio producer on game days since 2022. Preston also produces the weekly Thunder Full Court Press show with Voice of the Thunder Matt Pinto. He grew up in Moore and graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Thunder Radio Network Spanish Play by Play voice, Eleno Ornelas
Eleno Ornelas joined the Thunder in 2009 as the Spanish radio play-by-play announcer, calling all Thunder home games on WKY (930 AM). Ornelas also serves as the Texas Rangers coordinator of Spanish broadcasting and the play-by-play announcer for all Rangers Spanish radio broadcasts. He joined the Rangers Spanish radio broadcast team in 2000, contributing both playby-play and analysis before becoming the full-time play-by-play announcer in 2003. He has done radio play-by-play for the Dallas Mavericks and covered the Dallas Cowboys. Ornelas, is a native of Juarez, Mexico and was a professional baseball announcer in that country before coming to Texas. He has an extensive background as an administrator in the Mexican amateur baseball leagues in north Texas, serving as president of the Dallas League from 1993-98.
