OKLAHOMA CITY, Thursday, August 27, 2026— The Oklahoma City Thunder today announced the Thunder Gameday Network, a new and expanded collection of viewing options to provide fans with multiple ways to watch Thunder games throughout Oklahoma and the team’s regional viewing area during the 2026-27 season.
At the heart of the Thunder Gameday Network is Thunder+, a new direct-to-fan subscription streaming service available through the NBA App across the five-state Thunder broadcast region. There is also enhanced local and regional television distribution through Griffin Media, COX, DirecTV and other participating providers. The options also include a select number of free over-the-air games.
Fans will be able to watch the scheduled 67 Thunder games that are not among the team’s 15 scheduled national exclusive broadcasts in the following ways on the Thunder Gameday Network:
- Thunder+ subscription streaming service available through the NBA App (NBA ID required).
- On Griffin Media stations KSBI in Oklahoma City and KQCW in Tulsa, available on COX, DirecTV and DirecTV Stream. A select number of games will also be available for free over the air on Griffin stations. Griffin is currently in discussions with additional distributors. Updated information will be added to okcthunder.com/watch.
- In other portions of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska on DirecTV (Choice Plan Ch. 675), DirecTV and DirecTV Stream.
On cable, KSBI and KQCW are on COX Contour Starter plan (Ch. 7 in Oklahoma City, Ch. 19 in Tulsa). Both stations are available on DirecTV and DirecTV Stream (KSBI Ch. 52, KQCW Ch. 19).
In addition to streaming, cable and satellite distribution, a total of ten regular-season games will be available for free over the air in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Six will air on KSBI-52 and KQCW-19, with four additional games simulcast on Griffin stations KWTV-9 in Oklahoma City and KOTV-6 in Tulsa. The six free over-the-air games on KSBI and KQCW are Nov. 4 vs. Cleveland, Nov. 20 vs. New Orleans, Dec. 18 at Charlotte, Jan. 15 vs. Utah, March 10 at Toronto, and March 24 at Phoenix. The KWTV and KOTV simulcasts are scheduled for Oct. 31 at Houston, Nov. 28 at Milwaukee, Jan. 18 at Dallas and April 9 vs. Golden State.
Thunder+ will be available throughout Oklahoma and the five-state region for $19.99 per month or $108.99 for a season subscription. Fans who sign up for Thunder+ between Sept. 8 and Sept. 30 will receive a special season price of $99.99. In addition to live games, Thunder+ will feature on-demand full game replays and recaps for the entire season.
Games on the Thunder Gameday Network will begin with the team’s five preseason contests in early October. The first local broadcast of the regular season is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 25 at home vs. the LA Clippers. The full preseason and regular season broadcast schedule, along with Thunder+ subscription information can be found at okcthunder.com/watch.
“The changing landscape of local and regional TV sports provided us the opportunity to reimagine our broadcast distribution and create the Thunder Gameday Network,” said Dan Mahoney, vice president of Broadcasting for the Thunder. “This modern hybrid approach is designed to meet fans where they are, offering multiple ways to watch, from streaming to cable and satellite to free over-the-air television. We’re excited to expand our partnership with Griffin Media. We’ve been proud to collaborate with them for a limited number of games over the past three seasons, but this enhanced partnership makes Griffin the true local TV home of the Thunder. We’re also pleased to work directly with the NBA to launch Thunder+, our new direct-to-fan streaming service available through the NBA App. It allows viewers to enjoy Thunder games on a wide variety of platforms, from mobile to connected TV.”
“As a locally owned company, we are proud to continue and expand our partnership with the Oklahoma City Thunder,” said Wade Deaver, president of Griffin Media. “Covering the Thunder since their first season in Oklahoma City and broadcasting Thunder games the past three seasons, we’ve seen the passion Thunder fans have for their team firsthand, and all of us at Oklahoma’s Own Griffin Media are excited to bring games to viewers across Oklahoma again this year.”
In addition to carrying the full slate of local game broadcasts, Griffin will produce a 30-minute pregame show from its studios immediately prior to each game. The show will feature broadcasters from both Griffin and the Thunder including News 9 Sports Director Toby Rowland, News On 6 Sports Director John Holcomb, Thunder Reporter Steve McGehee, News 9 Sports Reporter Evan Kamikow as well as members of the Thunder broadcast team.
The full team of Thunder broadcasters will return for the 2026-27 season, with Chris Fisher on play-by-play, Michael Cage as analyst, and Nick Gallo, Paris Lawson and Royce Young serving as reporters and hosts.
On radio, all Thunder games, preseason and regular season, will once again be broadcast live on the Thunder Radio Network, led by flagship station WWLS 98.1 FM The Sports Animal. Matt Pinto returns as the radio voice of the Thunder, while Eleno Ornelas returns to broadcast Thunder home games in Spanish on WKY 930 AM in Oklahoma City.
