THUNDER TIPS OFF 2026 NBA PLAYOFFS WITH STATEWIDE FAN EXPERIENCES
OKLAHOMA CITY, Monday, April 13, 2025 – The Oklahoma City Thunder is set to tip off the 2026 NBA Playoffs with a statewide lineup of fan experiences designed to build energy and excitement heading into the first round. From returning fan-favorite events to immersive activations, fans have multiple ways to show their Thunder pride and gear up for the postseason.
The Thunder’s playoff run begins Sunday, April 19 at 2:30 p.m., with round 1, Game 1 at Paycom Center. Sunday’s game will mark the 72nd playoff game at the Paycom Center and will be broadcast on ABC. The team will host Games 1 and 2, and Games 5 and 7 if necessary. The NBA will release the full first-round schedule later this week. The Thunder’s opponent in the first round won’t be decided until the conclusion of the NBA Play-in Tournament on Friday, April 17.
TICKETS: A limited number of tickets are available for first-round home games and go on sale at www.okcthunder.com/buytickets starting Monday, April 13 at 10 a.m. Fans can also purchase guaranteed, authentic tickets from season ticket members and other fans through the same site as available. Only tickets sold through the Thunder website via Ticketmaster are guaranteed to be authentic and ensure entry for the game.
Should there be additional home playoff games, tickets will go on sale as those games are confirmed.
LOUD CITY HQ – APRIL 13-18: Located at 800 NW 4th St., Loud City HQ returns as the official playoff prep hub for Thunder fans. Open from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., this weeklong pop-up gives fans a daily dose of Thunder heading into the first round. The immersive space includes live DJ sets, exclusive merchandise, Thunder entertainer appearances, Simple Modern door prizes, the Michelob ULTRA Baseline Bar and virtual experiences.
THUNDER UP TOUR – APRIL 16, 18: The Thunder UP Tour mobile fan experience tour will make stops on April 16 at Lee West Park in Lawton (6 to 8 p.m.), and on April 18 at the Gathering Place in Tulsa (2 to 4 p.m.). The tour brings the interactive OG&E Thunder Bolt trailer, free T-shirts, music, photo ops, Thunder entertainers and merchandise directly to fans.
THUNDER UP IN THE PARK: Thunder UP in the Park returns to Scissortail Park as the official pregame celebration before every home playoff game. The free event begins 3 ½ hours before tipoff and wraps 30 minutes prior.
Activities include the Michelob ULTRA Beer Garden and the Thunder Ticket Challenge presented by Simple Modern where fans, age 18 and older, can enter to win free tickets for that night’s game. Fans of all ages will also enjoy face painting, skills-and-drills station, inflatable games, live DJ, the Thunder merchandise trailer, the OG&E Thunder Bolt, and appearances by Rumble the Bison and Thunder entertainers.
TUNE IN: All Thunder playoff games will only be broadcast on NBA national TV partners ABC, ESPN, NBC/Peacock, and Amazon Prime Video. Thunder playoff games will also be carried live on the Thunder Radio Network, led by WWLS 98.1 The Sports Animal in Oklahoma City. Thunder home playoff games will be available in Spanish on WKY 930 AM radio in Oklahoma City.
HALF-PRICE CONCESSIONS: For those with tickets, doors open two hours before tipoff and food and beverages are half-off for the first hour, excluding the Michelob ULTRA Club, Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Club, and suites. Game attendees are encouraged to make their way into Paycom Center when doors open so they can take advantage of the food and beverage discount, put on their playoff T-shirts and get to their seats to welcome Thunder players to the floor.
PLAYOFF T-SHIRTS: A fan favorite since 2010, playoff T-shirts will be on each seat at Paycom Center for every home playoff game. Game attendees should plan to arrive early to join in this OKC playoff tradition and gear up before the players hit the floor.
AUCTION: During most home playoff games, fans can participate in in-game auctions featuring player-autographed items and signed sports memorabilia, benefiting the Thunder Community Foundation both in-person and at okcthunder.com/auction. The Game 1 auction opens Monday, April 13 at 10 a.m. and will close at the end of the third quarter of the game.
THUNDER HALL: Fassler Hall locations in OKC and Tulsa are being transformed into Thunder Hall, the go-to destination to gather and watch the playoffs. All games will be on the big screens and during away games, Thunder Hall will feature giveaways, Thunder-themed entertainment and special appearances.
WATCH PARTIES: Thunder Watch Zones and the Thunder Bar Network[https://thunder%20watch%20zones%20and%20the%20thunder%20bar%20network/], presented by Michelob ULTRA, offer more options to gather with friends and watch playoff action. There are four zones in the metro: OKC Tap House, Jones Assembly, Social Capital, and Deep Deuce Grill; and one in Tulsa at Midleton’s Bar & Grill. Thunder Bar Network locations are also available throughout the state.
PLAYOFF GEAR: Fans can shop playoff gear 24/7 at www.okcthunder.com/shop. In addition, the Thunder merchandise trailer will be open during Thunder UP in the Park and the Thunder Shop at Paycom Center is open during playoff games and during regular store hours, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
