Report: Arkansas considering Bobby Petrino for OC job

Bobby Petrino and Arkansas may be in for an unlikely reunion.Arkansas is “vetting hiring” Petrino as its next offensive coordinator, ESPN reported Tuesday.Petrino, 62, spent 2008-11 as Arkansas’ head coach and led them to a Cotton Bowl win in the 2011 season. But he was fired in April 2012 after a motorcycle accident led to the revelation that he was conducting an extramarital affair with an athletic department employee.Petrino has served as head coach of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons (2007) along with Louisville (2003-06, 2014-18), Western Kentucky (2013) and FCS Missouri State (2020-22).
