Jaedon LeDee established career highs of 34 points and 17 rebounds to lead San Diego State to a 100-97 overtime victory over Washington on Sunday night to win the championship game of the Continental Tires Main Event at Las Vegas.Elijah Saunders recorded a career best of 16 points to go with eight rebounds for San Diego State (4-1), which blew a 12-point lead in the final five minutes of regulation. Micah Parrish scored 15 points, Reese Waters added 13 and Lamont Butler notched five steals for the Aztecs.Keion Brooks Jr. scored 22 points, Sahvir Wheeler had 19 points and four steals and Moses Wood had 18 points for the Huskies (3-2).Paul Mulcahy contributed 11 points, three steals and tied his career high of 13 assists, and Franck Kepnang had 10 points and eight rebounds for Washington.Wood missed a corner 3-pointer with two seconds left that could have forced a second overtime.Brooks’ basket gave the Huskies a 95-92 lead with 2:14 left in the extra session. LeDee later made two free throws to pull the Aztecs within 97-96 with 1:13 left, and his inside hoop put San Diego State back ahead with 36.9 seconds left.Butler stole the ball from Brooks with 14 seconds left, and Waters knocked down two free throws with 9.5 seconds left to make it a three-point margin.Washington trailed by seven with under a minute remaining in regulation before rallying. Wheeler and Mulcahy scored baskets and Wheeler later converted a layup with 6.1 seconds left to make it a one-point deficit.Washington then forced a tie-up with 4.4 seconds left and the possession arrow was in its favor. Mulcahy drove to the hoop and was fouled by LeDee and split two free throws to tie it at 85 with one second left.
