Ohio State DB Hooker charged with DUI

Ohio State freshman defensive back Marcus Hooker has been charged with driving under the influence in Neshannock Township, Penn., according to multiple reports.Hooker, 18, is also facing charges of disregard of a traffic lane, careless driving, no rear lights and purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor after being pulled over by police June 16. He is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary arraignment on July 5, according to court records.Hooker had a blood alcohol content between .10 and .16, according to court records. A DUI conviction with a high BAC is an ungraded misdemeanor in Pennsylvania for a first offense and could lead to license suspension, fines or up to six months in prison.
