Playing for Team Canada yesterday, Blue Jays third baseman Brett Lawrie tweaked an oblique and may miss a few days, reports Shi Davidi.

Lawrie, of course, fought oblique problems last year too, causing him to miss most of August and the early part of September. At this point it looks like he'll only miss some WBC action, but the Jays have to hope that Team Canada is cautious with him.
