Cardinals restricted free agent quarterback Brian Hoyer has signed his one-year contract offer from the club. The NFL disclosed the move in its Wednesday transactions.
The 27-year-old Hoyer was given the second-round tender by Arizona. He was the only restricted free agent tendered by the Cardinals.
Hoyer is one of four quarterbacks currently on the Cardinals' roster, with newly signed Drew Stanton and John Skelton and Ryan Lindley the others.
Hoyer appeared in two games in 2012 for Arizona, starting one. He completed 30-of-53 passes for 330 yards with one TD and two interceptions.
Hoyer received the second-round tender from New England last March but was released before the start of the regular season.
